On the 9th of March, YFS conducted a Medical camp at Dabbahalli village in Mandya district for residents of Dabbahalli and surrounding villages. The camp was conducted in association with Rajarajeswari Medical college and Hospital (RRMCH), Mysore Road, Bangalore, and Vikasana Trust (an NGO), a project of NABARD in Dabbahalli (who made local arrangements- Publicity, venue arrangements, hospitality for Doctors and volunteers).

311 people from 6 villages (Dabbahalli, Chandahalli, Netkal, Halahalli, Malligehalli, Tolavalli) were screened on the day.
FINDINGS
Of the 311 people screened,
A. 104 people were given Medicines at the venue
B. 23 people have been marked as requiring further referral. The following table presents the numbers of these referrals, specialty-wise:

Thanks to the Department of Community Medicine, RRMCH, Bangalore, for sending the Medical team for this camp. Treatments for referral cases shall also be taken up by RRMCH.
